We took a closer look at Havana's culture and the way it has impacted Miami. We looked at the way it impacted
tourism by exploring the streets of Little Havana and its people. This is something very
important to us because Miami is a growing city that has been modernizing its streets.
Unfortunately, this means the new skyscrapers are replacing the culture that creates the
identity of the city. Through this project, we want people to see that Miami can be a prosperous
and modern city while preserving the Latin culture that makes up its identity. The young adults
of the city of Miami, are the future, they will be making the decisions for this city. We intend to
show them the importance of preserving culture and history regardless of the advancements in
technology and architecture. We believe Miami can continue to be a significant place on the
map, if the citizens have the chance keep the Latin flavor that makes this city different from the rest of the
U.S.
